FYI -- Here is the crime information that our neighborhood requested, kindly provided by Craig Anderson, Senior Crime Analyst with the LPD. It includes crime incidents as well as calls to the police.
Only incidents, not calls, appear on the crime maps we have been given in the past.
This expanded map allows us to see locations from which people have made calls to the police whether or not it is an incident. (And in some cases, multiple people called the police about the same crime.)
I’ve asked Craig to attend one of our upcoming meetings to help us learn more about our crime maps.
