T-Mobile proposes stealth cellphone tower placement in Lansing's Averill Woods neighborhood

As an alternative to the traditional cellphone tower, T-Mobile has apparently proposed construction of a stealth tower at the same location as first proposed on the Grand Haven Retirement Community site which abuts Skye Road and Deerfield Avenue, according to Melissa Quon-Huber of the Averil Woods Neighborhood Association.

It would look like a huge flagpole with a even huger flag flying from it.

How do you feel about this? Is this a good compromise?

Should the association stick to its guns for a city-wide master plan for cellphone construction. During this period when it is being drafted and adopted, should there still be a moratorium on cellphone tower construction.
