Averill Woods Neighborhood Association working to stop Skye Road cell tower construction
The Averill Woods Neighborhood Association is unanimous in its effort to keep cell phone company, T-Mobile, from building a new cell tower immediately adjacent to the Skye Road residential area.
The proposed tower which requires a special land use permit from the Lansing City Council butts up on to the neighborhood and to an elementary school. The council is expected to hold a hearing on the permit request at its meeting next Monday evening at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in City Hall.
