Averill Woods Park's new playground equipment has official ribbon-cutting
If you missed it, look in the left column and you'll see photos from last Wednesday's ribbon-cutting for the new playground equipment at Averill Woods Park. It was a festive neighborhood celebration with Mayor Virg Bernero, two city council members--Bill Matt and Derrick Quinney--and many others in attendance.
The new kid-friendly and climbable playground toys were a hit with the large group of youngsters who attended.
After the ceremony, Averill Woods School held a barbeque for students and their families and for the neighborhood.
