T-Mobile getting ready to sue to put cell tower in Averill Woods neighborhood backyard/frontyard

T-Mobile proposes stealth cellphone tower placement in Lansing's Averill Woods neighborhood


As an alternative to the traditional cellphone tower, T-Mobile has apparently proposed construction of a stealth tower at the same location as first proposed on the Grand Haven Retirement Community site which abuts Skye Road and Deerfield Avenue, according to Melissa Quon-Huber of the Averil Woods Neighborhood Association.

Somehow, I got out of the rhythm of updating this site with the latest-greatest that's happening in our Averill Woods neighborhood on the southwest side of Lansing.

Meet Lansing City Council candidates at Oct. 17 Colonial Village meeting

You are invited to meet the candidates for Lansing City Council at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Meet the Candidates event of the Colonial Village Neighborhood Association. It meets at Grace United Methodist Church, 1900 Boston Blvd., on the corner of Mt. Hope and Boston.
