Meeting at Bigby's this Saturday

I am encouraging everyone to attend the meeting Saturday, April 5 at Bigby's on Waverly. Although one of the topics to be discussed is the cell tower issue, we need to come together concerning the latest happenings at City Council. After watching the replay of Monday night's City Council meeting, I am stunned that the Council voted in the manner they did regarding the Francis Park project. If this split vote is going to occur in the face of almost unanimous community support for this project, I believe we have a great deal to be concerned about with our elected officials.
I am an advocate for open dialogue with City Council and the Planning Department. I am hopeful that this will be a step in the right direction for our neighborhood voice.
